Hanzawa Naoki ; The biggest hit of TV drama series in this year

People have watched TV less and less since the Internet technology has come out and given us what we can do other than watching TV. This would be true anywhere in the world. But as far as I can tell, the issue has been severe so far because the less people watch TV, the less TV stations can get the budget. The budget itseld usually comes from advertisement fee for commercial from comapnanies which want to put advetisement on air. As is easily expected, internet advetisement has becoming larger and larger because people's interest platform have shift from TV to internet practically, which can not be helped at the moment. Concequently the reducton of budget to make TV programs including TV dorama also becomes difficult. However, as the title indicates, one biggest hit drama came out this year in Japan. Its title is Hanzawa Naoki which is name of main person's name. Hanzawa is family name, and Naoki is first name.

The drama stroy is basically based on a famous novel which was published a few years ago, and a director of the drama follow the story by chainging a little bit in order to make it fitting for TV. 
The story is essentially long term revenge of Hanzawa to a people in a bank by whom a farther of Hanzawa committed suicide when he was small. His father run a small factory to make screws and lent money fron the bank, but the bank stopped lending because the factory did not expected to make money. Therefore the factory went almost bankrupt and his father killed himself. Hanzawa saw a person in charge tell his father stopping of money in one raining day even though his farther and mother were asking him to keep lending desperately while doing Dogeza. Dogeza is basically a way of asking and appoligizing by expressing desperate attitude. Hanzawa decided to do revenge of his farther when he saw his father hang himself with lope in the factory. He successfully joined the bank after graduating a university and approached the person in charge at that time who was already a board memeber. Finally he was able to make him do Dogeza in font of him and board members which is the most humiliated action in Japan.

The stroy is so simple and does not sould a big hit one, but the reason of the big hit is great jobs of director, actors and actoresses who made the drama attracting people so much. One of example is a charactor of Hanzawa who believe in justice at the bank which is full of politics and conspiracies, and he is always in weak position at first but he managed to knock down persons doing bad by discussion. I think that this way of justice would make people feel good as well as comfortable because there are many politics and stress full things in any companies.

I would say that this would not become the biggest hit if it was  a few decades ago when Japanese economics was doing great.

So it is right timing, and the story is right.

Tokyo Olympic 2020 : What are your life going to be in 2020

The International Olympic Committee, IOC, announced that Tokyo became a place for Olympic in 2020 among 3 candidate cities, Istanbul, Madrid and Tokyo. These 3 candidate cities gave their last presentations to IOC for appealing of their passion of holding Olympic at their cities in 2020. According to the news afterfoward the decision, there was a concern of economy stat in Madrid, and there was a concern of politics in Istanbul, but there was also a concern of Fukushima nuclear power plant in Japan. Each city has something concern, but the prime minister, Abe, were able to show that the power plant is under control by their effort and guarantee that it is safe to hold the Olympic in Tokyo. IOC chose Tokyo because Tokyo will be able to host the Olympic for sure finantically, politically and safely.

Many young people know that Japan held Tokyo Olympic before in 1964, but it's around 50 years ago, so we young people including me only know it through TV, history class, and some media. So it's so fun just by imaging it because we Japanese people will be able to show many people how wonderful city Tokyo is as well as Japan is. Many people visit Japan every year, enjoy Japan and know Japan, but we Japanese people would like more people to know Japan more about people, culture and so on. So this is chance for Japanese people to do that.

One more thing which we expect from holding the Olympic is to get Japanese economy back normal. That's because the last Olympic at Tokyo was definitely tipping point for Japan economy growth in order to develop our economy to one of top economics countries from poor country. This was miracle when we consider the lost of World War II which devestated Japanese country completely. Since that time, Japanese economy grew amazingly and it used to be called "Japan as number 1", but it did not last forever. Last two decades, Japan economy has suffered from a long recession since the collapse of the bubble economy coming from real estate money game due to human greedy. The next Olympic at Tokyo has huge potential for people in the world in terms of making our life better throughtout hosting the Olympic from preparation to the end. It will give us huge positive effects for sure. At the same time, we also have to consider negative effects.

Since the announcement, there is one thing going on Internet among Japanese people. Japanese people, especially young people, start to consider how our life is going to be in 2020 as well as what life they want to achieve in 2020, and

post what they are thingking now on Internet. It's good thing not only for young people but also for everyone to consider the their future and what they want to be in the future. At this time, it has been triggered by the decision of the Olympic, but I hope that it is not temporal emotional behavior but it contitue to influence people's thinking for long.
